HOCKEY DAY IN SASKTACHEWAN

On Saturday January 16th SHA and Sask Energy hosted the 3rd annual Hockey Day in Saskatchewan. MJMHA was also hosting its annual Bantam Tier III Tournament. As part of the event, MJMHA was asked to honor a local Volunteer Champion. The recipients were Paul and Karen Mayson, both have contributed to the betterment of Hockey in MJ for many years. In attendance to present the award was MJMHA President Darryl Tunall and Moose Jaw North MLA Warren Michelson.  (pictured l-r Darryl Tunall, Paul Mayson, MLA Warren Michelson, front- Karen Mayson)Later in the day the Bantam Tournament Coordinators treated the crowd to gigantic cake celebrating the days events.
